“Office” Star Rainn Wilson to Make Guthrie Appearance

Rainn Wilson, a two-time Emmy nominee for his work as Dwight Schrute on NBC’s “The Office,” was previously seen at the Guthrie in productions of Philadelphia, Here I Come!; The Venetian Twins; and The Importance of Being Earnest. He has also appeared on Broadway in London Assurance and The Tempest. 

Rainn Wilson, star of the hit NBC series “The Office” and one-time Guthrie Theater actor, will take part in the theatre’s “In Conversation” series with artistic director Joe Dowling July 17.

The 1 PM conversation will be held on the Wurtele Thrust Stage at the Guthrie.

You wouldn’t want to make a  snow cone out of it, but the last remnants of the winter of 2010-11  were still melting away Tuesday in the Sears parking lot in St. Paul.
Despite the scorching heat and record-breaking temperatures at  102 degrees, there were still a few inches of ice under a layer of dirt a  few feet across in the middle of a small puddle. The end, however, is  finally near.


I dare someone to eat a spoonful of it.
